“Dreamers” refers to illegal immigrants who crossed the border as children — a group that has become a political tool wielded by the left to push amnesty.
Automatic full amnesty for all Dreamers would likely incite an even heavier flow of illegal immigrants eager to smuggle their children across the border, but Democrats rejected President Trump’s more modest call to grant them green cards.
While calling for bipartisan “comprehensive immigration reform,” O’Rourke’s extreme positions make any such deal unlikely.
Not content to merely oppose Trump’s new border wall, O’Rourke went so far as to call for already existing barriers to be removed, making illegal entry easier than ever.
