As Donald Trump watches from the sidelines despite being the man who’s collected more votes for president than anyone else in the history of American elections, we get yet another reminder that not every election plays out exactly like it’s supposed to.
Israel’s government is facing a serious crisis as a prime minister who only won six percent of the vote is set to take the reigns of the government.
Even though Israel has in-person, hand-counting voting, there is a serious feeling in Israel that in order to produce the winner that it did, the election at least had to be manipulated.
Perhaps it was the flimsy charges being levelled against incumbent Benjamin Netanyahu years ago. Either way, Israeli citizens are seriously questioning how Naftali Bennett could have won their election despite having the tiniest of constituencies when compared to the big dogs in Israeli politics.
Netanyahu condemned the incoming government, calling it “a scam against the public. The biggest election scam, maybe, in history.”
