Barack and Michelle Obama have ended the speculation. The former First Family just made it official, and people are stunned. The hypocrisy is astounding.
Appearing at the Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago, Michelle Obama condemned “white flight” — the term race-baiters like to use when describing white people leaving minority neighborhoods. But there’s just one problem.
The Obamas recently purchased a $15 million estate in Martha’s Vinyard. According to statistics, the premiere homestead for the politically-connected elite is nearly 95% white and less than 2% black.
With the Obamas, the hypocritical virtue-signaling doesn’t stop there; they’ve made a career out of saying one thing and doing another. The couple has another home in DC worth $8 million, and yet another in California worth $5 million.
Both areas are 80% white and 89% white, respectfully. Now, of course, the Obamas also have a home in Chicago’s Hyde Park — at least that neighborhood is 26% black. Still, one has to scratch their head at the double standard.
But this isn’t about racism at all. People don’t like to live in dangerous, crime-filled neighborhoods. This is why families leave when given the chance; race has nothing to do with it. Otherwise, the Obamas would be guilty of “white flight” too.
