Former NFL quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick has reportedly signed an exclusive deal with Audible for the audiobook version of his memoir, which will be published this year.
The deal involves not only the audiobook of his memoir, but other audio works that will be published further in the future.
Kaepernick rose to cultural prominence after he began to kneel in protest of the flag during the national anthem at the beginning of each football game.
His actions led to many other athletes refusing to stand for the pledge, although the furor has died down in recent months.
Kaepernick founded a publishing company, Kaepernick Publishing, to provide more diverse reading materials to the public.
