Former Vice President Joe Biden’s eldest son, Hunter Biden, was just sent a stunning notice. The U.S. Senate might haul him in for questioning and there’s nothing he can do about it.
At a campaign rally in Kentucky with President Trump, Sen. Rand Paul said, “I say this to my fellow colleagues in Congress, to every Republican in Washington: step up and subpoena Hunter Biden and subpoena the whistleblower!”
Sen. Paul has a supporter of this idea in Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana. The two Republicans are ready to go to war should an impeachment trial be held in the Senate — they want to have some counterprogramming of their own.
This is a smart move for at least two reasons: 1) Hunter Biden and the so-called ‘whistleblower’ have a lot of questions to answer before the American people, and 2) Democrats, in their anti-Trump zeal, want to control the narrative.
This idea by Paul and Kennedy will effectively flip the script on the Democrats’ impeachment witch-hunt. One has to imagine that Hunter Biden wouldn’t be too keen on this proposal, considering his business dealings in Ukraine.
Then, you have the whistleblower himself. His name is allegedly Eric Ciaramellal; he is well-known in Democrat circles. Between this fact and that he didn’t even have firsthand knowledge for a complaint, the stage is set for a showdown.
