Both House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) are supporting the legislation. McCarthy said in a Fox News interview that he thought Schiff should not only be censured but should lose his committee chairmanship.
“He has no credibility to be a chairman; he has no right to be the prosecutor in this case,” McCarthy said.
