An airstrike was just launched against America’s enemies. President Trump gave the order, and now we’re one step closer to victory. This is what he promised.
According to an announcement by the U.S. military, several Islamic State militants are dead after “U.S. Africa Command conducted an airstrike targeting ISIS-Libya terrorists” this week.
U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William Gayler said, “This airstrike was conducted to eliminate ISIS terrorists and deny them the ability to conduct attacks on the Libyan people,” resulting in 11 terrorists being killed.
“This effort demonstrates the resolve of the U.S. and our Libyan partners to deny safe havens to terrorists,” he continued. Maj. Gen. Gayler is U.S. Africa Command’s director of operations.
Furthermore, it is being reported that no civilians were injured during the strike, which is a welcome change from the former Obama administration’s ineffective and nearly indiscriminate bombing in the region.
Before Tump was even elected, he pledged to go back on the offensive and root out terrorists wherever they stood. He continues to follow-through on his commitment to American security.
