Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) was just put on notice. An official replacement has been announced, and the powerful lawmaker is in trouble.
Jon Hollis, a Republican, is determined to unseat the anti-Trump representative and went public with his campaign recently. He hopes to flip this district for the GOP next November.
“I live and work in my district and I have been for the past seven years or so, and I’ve watched over the past seven years — its been slowly starting to fall apart,” said Hollis to One American News Network (OAN).
He specifically said that the “homeless issue has become a huge problem,” which is surely ironic, is it not? You would think that a district represented by a Democrat claiming to care about the poor would be better off.
Yes, that’s sarcasm you’re hearing, and Hollis wants to change the place where he lives and works for the better. An estimated 59,000 Californian’s are homeless in Los Angeles County — and part of the county is represented by Schiff.
The root cause is this mental health crisis,” said Hollis. “So even if you don’t have a mental disorder when you’re pushed to the street, often time you develop one while you’re there.” It is something that “nobody is addressing,” he said.
