2020 Democrat QUITS The Race – Too Much Pressure

After New York Mayor Bill de Blasio dropped out of the 2020 presidential race, Trump jabbed at his former would-be opponent, saying New Yorkers were “devastated” that he would be coming home.

De Blasio said that it “wasn’t his time” to run for president but that it had been an “extraordinary experience.”

“Oh no, really big political news, perhaps the biggest story in years!” Trump jabbed in a tweet after hearing the news. “Part time Mayor of New York City, @BilldeBlasio, who was polling at a solid ZERO but had tremendous room for growth, has shocking dropped out of the Presidential race. NYC is devastated, he’s coming home!”

Trump had been clear that he didn’t think de Blasio had what it took to oppose him, and had often poked fun at de Blasio’s candidacy and called him a bad mayor of New York City, where the Trump organization is headquartered.

De Blasio said he felt he contributed all he could to the primary race.
