Trump Exposes Paul Ryan – Now We Know The Truth
President Trump has been silent about former Speaker Paul Ryan since the November election and Democrats taking control of the House. But he just came forward with the truth, and now Ryan has been exposed.
In a lengthy interview, Trump said that Ryan himself stood in the way of liberal politicians and groups from being investigated. “Paul Ryan wouldn’t give the right to have any subpoenas,” Trump told Breitbart News this week.
He continued: “Now in all fairness, Meadows and Jordan and all these guys, they wanted to go tougher, but they weren’t allowed to by leadership.” Trump is referring to Rep. Mark Meadows and Rep. Jim Jordan, two of his strongest supporters.
Meadows is the current chairman of the House Freedom Caucus and has consistently bucked party leadership, choosing instead to stand up for what’s right and defend President Trump within the GOP. He’s a Republican with actual backbone.
But the same thing cannot be said about Paul Ryan and many others who refuse to fight. “You know, the left plays a tougher game, it’s very funny. I actually think that the people on the right are tougher, but they don’t play it tougher,” Trump said.
With Democrats running the House, it’s likely that the liberals Trump believed warranted investigation will get off easy — Speaker Pelosi is in charge now. And the failure to do the right thing when it was possible falls squarely on Paul Ryan’s shoulders.
