Ocasio-Cortez Makes Devastating Error – End of Career
New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s shining star is rapidly burning out, and she has only herself to blame.
As if competing for Washington’s highest gaffe tally, the error-prone freshman recently jumped at the chance to align herself with another freshman congresswoman’s embarrassing gaffe.
During the Michael Cohen hearings, Rep. Rashida Tlaib accused Republican Rep. Mark Meadows of racism for inviting a “prop” black woman to the hearings.
That accusation blew up in Tlaib’s face when Meadows responded that his own nieces and nephews are black, and that the “prop” black woman, Lynne Patton, was a personal friend of the Trump family who had a connection with Cohen.
Apparently not realizing Tlaib lost the argument, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “Total bravery from @RashidaTlaib as she reminds the nation that tokenism *is* racism.”
Once again, Ocasio-Cortez has shown she may lack the political, or even just regular everyday, acumen to clinch a second term, let alone climb the ranks of Democratic leadership.
