Former President Barack Obama stated in an interview on Tuesday that he was “sure” that he would have won a third term if he had run again.
He then (somewhat grudgingly) admitted that the constitution didn’t allow him to do so.
Interestingly, he added that he was “not sure it is a healthy thing” to serve more than two terms – the vague wording raising questions as to whether Obama is actually leaving the door open to a third run.
Liberals have never been afraid to disregard the Constitution when it serves their own interests, and Obama is no exception. Conservatives would do well to keep a close eye on the situation.
