Nancy Pelosi Humiliated In Front of Entire World – It’s Over
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a whole egg omelet to scrape off her face now that special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion probe has ended — and not just because Mueller found no evidence of collusion.
Pelosi also has to answer for her accusation that President Trump fired former Attorney General Jeff Sessions in order obstruct the investigation.
Four months ago, Pelosi tweeted that “it is impossible to read Attorney General Sessions’ firing as anything other than another blatant attempt by @realDonaldTrump to undermine & end Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation.”
Now that the probe has seemingly been allowed to come to a slow and anti-climactic conclusion on Mueller’s own terms, Pelosi’s claim seems spurious.
Current Attorney General William Barr reported to Congress that “there were no such instances” in which he “concluded that a proposed action by a Special Counsel was so inappropriate or unwarranted under established Departmental practices that it should not be pursued.”
In his report, Mueller deferred to Barr to decide whether Trump committed obstruction of justice. Barr determined that he did not.
