Hillary Clinton Trapped – She Is Done
Hillary Clinton’s inability to accept her loss to Donald Trump in 2016 has turned from sour apples into outright delusion, and she’s boxed herself into a corner.
Clinton questioned whether Trump would accept the election results, but she’s trapped herself by this standard. Now she won’t even accept the outcome of Georgia’s 2018 election. “Stacey Abrams should be governor, leading that state right now,” she said recently.
She was speaking in Alabama on the anniversary of Selma’s “Bloody Sunday” and discussed how she believes — without any evidence, of course — that the 2016 and 2018 elections were rife with voter suppression.
“We know, don’t we, that candidates both black and white have lost their races because they have been deprived of the votes they otherwise would have gotten,” said Clinton. It was at this point she invoked Georgia’s race.
Claps and cheers can be heard from the audience, but perhaps not at uproarious as Clinton would have hoped. It would be safe to assume that some people didn’t take kindly to her political grandstanding and equivocation.
Leave it to Hillary Clinton to draw an offensive, historically inaccurate comparison, between the America of today and the struggle for equality under the law during the Civil Rights Movement.
