BREAKING: Trump WINS – It’s Officially Confirmed
Trump just achieved a major win after the Senate officially confirmed his nominee to a major administration position.
Michael Desmond, a former Treasury official was just officially approved by the Senate as the IRS chief counsel.
Desmond was overwhelmingly favored by Senators on both sides of the aisle. He was easily confirmed in a bipartisan vote of 83-15.
Desmond is properly qualified for the job, with years of experience in tax law on his resume. However, some Democrats choose to oppose his confirmation for seemingly no reason besides to snipe at President Trump.
Of the 15 Democrats that voted against Desmond, many are Democrat presidential candidates. Included in the list of opposing votes are White House hopefuls Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, and Elizabeth Warren.
Despite the posturing of Democrat candidates, Desmond’s position will be formalized just in time to develop IRS regulations for Trump’s planned tax cuts – a major win for the President.
