BREAKING: Mueller Report RELEASE Announcement – It’s Set
Attorney General William Barr just made an announcement indicating when the Mueller report will finally be released.
Barr told the House Appropriations panel that a redacted version of the report will be released within the week.
William Barr was standing before the panel to answer questions about the proposed Justice department budget. Democrat Rep. Jose Serrano turned the conversation to the Mueller report timeline.
The attorney general affirmed that “within a week, I’ll be in a position to release the report to the public and then I will engage with the chairman of both Judiciary committees about that report and about any further requests that they have.”
Democrats have been clamoring for the release of the report for several weeks now. Barr initially told the public that he would release the report in April, and confirmed that “original timetable of being able to release this by mid-April stands.”
William Barr has also indicated that he asked Robert Mueller to review the redacted version of the report, but that’s not good enough for House Democrats. The House Judiciary Committee has already voted to subpoena the un-redacted version of the report.
