BREAKING: Bill Barr INDICTMENT Alert – Media Notified
With the Mueller investigation complete and the unfounded allegations of wrongdoing against President Donald Trump essentially debunked and dismissed, attention has been turned to an “investigation of the investigators” to determine how and why the whole affair first started.
Republican Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe — member of both the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, and Trump’s pick to be the next Director of National Intelligence — explained in a recent interview on Fox News that Attorney General William Barr and Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz had nearly completed their investigation of the investigators and accountability for crimes committed would be coming soon.
Ratcliffe declined to name names during the interview for who in the prior Obama administration might be held accountable, but said, “What I do know as a former federal prosecutor is that it does appear that there were crimes committed during the Obama administration.”
Later in the interview, with regard to how alleged wrongdoing in the DOJ had “shaken” the faith of Americans in the justice system, Ratcliffe said, “(T)he only way to get that back is for there to be real accountability with a very fair process. Again, I have supreme confidence in Bill Barr’s ability to deliver that.”
The congressman pointed to three separate things that he believed involved criminal activity: the leaking of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s phone call with a Russian ambassador, the questionable relation between Democrat-aligned opposition research firm Fusion GPS and DOJ official Bruce Ohr, and the leaking of former FBI Director James Comey’s memos to the media after he was fired in 2017.
It has indeed become readily apparent that rules and laws were broken and violated during the Obama administration in an effort to “get Trump,” and it increasingly looks like those alleged crimes will soon be fully revealed to the public and the wrongdoers held accountable for their actions.
