Bernie Sanders Accused Of Running Campaign Marred By Sexual Violence Against Staffers

Socialist-leaning independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders finished second to failed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary, and as such is one of the early front-runners for the Democratic Party’s 2020 nomination to take on President Donald Trump.

However, a recent report from Politico revealed that many of his top staffers from the 2016 campaign are reticent to join the probable 2020 campaign due to concerns over allegations of “sexual violence and harassment” among campaign workers in 2016.

The group of former Sanders campaign staffers sent a letter calling for a group meeting with Sanders himself and his close inner circle in order to assuage those concerns.

Sanders gained notoriety when an essay that he wrote for an alternative magazine argued that women fantasize about gang rape.
