5 Spots Open In Trump Cabinet Shakeup
In a wide-ranging Fox interview, President Trump dropped a bombshell piece of news: He’s open to replacing up to 5 current cabinet members. And he’s ready to name at least two.
“I have three or four or five positions that I’m thinking about. Of that, maybe it’s going to end up being two. But I need flexibility,” Trump said.
The names of the two that are likely to get the boot? Department of Homeland Security head Kirstjen Nielson, and chief of staff John Kelly.
Trump feels that Nielson is too soft on the border issues, and Kelly lacks key strengths that Trump is looking for in a chief of staff. As for the other potential cabinet members on the bubble, we’ll have to stay tuned.
